- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Receptionist sigh when you ask them to check days for appointments - like that is not their job. Ive previously had to discuss a very embarrassing condition with one receptionist in particular that refused to give me a call back with a doctor unless I told her exactly what was wrong. Very degrading. The same receptionist has messed my partner about by her having to get a taxi to collect my prescription at the time told to me by a nurse. When my partner arrived the prescription was 'not ready' - I phoned up very annoyed and suddenly it reappears. No need at all to mess people about. The doctors here are excellent. The problem is the receptionists. They seem to have an inflated sense of self importance. I could raise a further 2 issues I have had with this receptionist but it would be like arguing with a pigeon. A pigeon will never see it's wrong doing as it does not have the mental capacity or self awareness. Avoid this practice at all costs. Its a Real shame as doctors are spot on.by James WalkerJune 27, 2017
